About Me.
Words ....... and me are married; and I will love them forever, until death do us part. They're always there for me...only a journal, keystroke or breath away. They have offered some of the best listening ears. They've been far cheaper and more valuable than any therapist. They've healed my soul like religion, and carried me through some of the darkest of nights.
They are my constant confidant that I can count on to never leave me. They've been there through thick and thin...and I will cherish them forever. I love you my dear friend....WORDS.
This beautiful marriage with words went on to create three amazing world changers...Promise, Joseph and Hawke; whom are my treasures and heartbeat. And I can't forget my other adopted "child", my beloved Chopper; my best furry friend who sits curled up beside me, as I sit for hours writing away.
Along this journey, WORDS helped me to create a non-profit, Malachi, teaching men in prison how to be powerful, life-changing fathers and leaders. Along with this leadership program, I founded and oversaw a fitness and running program for the men at this maximum-security prison.
I directed this program for eight years, until I developed another non-profit, The People's Victory; where our mission is to raise up leaders to influence the culture with principles of honor and integrity, through the arts, media & entertainment; with a focus on at-risk youth.
Words are my passion.....
And it is my hope and prayer, that my life-long work, love-affair, and marriage to WORDS, will change the world for the better.
So I welcome you into my world of words....

RUNNING WITH TEARS:
TURNING YOUR PAIN INTO PASSION
When Julie Nicole told God, “Send me to the darkest places that nobody wants to go”, she had no idea that within weeks her whole life would turn upside down.
But before this turning she had an amazing encounter with God, in which He said, “Do you know why you named your son Joseph? Because you are going to know how Joseph felt.” Later that night her middle son, Joseph, asked to read the book, Joseph, for their bedtime story.
Two days later she experienced the greatest betrayal of her life when she was handcuffed and thrown into a psych ward by health officials after her then husband conspired with family, friends and their pastor to convince them Julie needed to be admitted because she was crazy. Her crime? She claimed she had an encounter with God.
In this psych ward where they refused to let her out she was threatened with electric shock by the doctor and routinely taunted by him saying, “You’re never going to get out of here or see your children again.” In a moment of fear she thought about telling the doctor none of those claims were true, but she heard God say, “Don’t deny me. Remember how I saved Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego and how I shut the mouths of the lions in the lions’ den. Not a hair on your head will be harmed in this place.”
Julie now tells how God shut the mouths of the lions in her lions' den and lets others know that when we boldly declare his name he is great enough to keep even our clothes from smelling like smoke while in the midst of the fire.
"Sometimes you gotta go to hell and back to get a praise that no man can silence," she says. "And sometimes that means we are running with tears, but we still keep on running!"
Chopper: The Dog Nobody Wanted
Chopper teaches us, it's now how you start in life, but you finish that matters.
In a blink of an eye, Chopper's world turned upside down. He was lost, scared, and felt unloved.
"Why does nobody want me?" he cried.
He tried so hard to be a good dog, but it seemed no one could see the good in him. That was until one special day when everything changed. Finally, someone saw the purpose in a dog that nobody wanted. He went from being the saddest dog you ever saw, to loving his life!
And Chopper believes no matter how rough your life started, that you can finish well too, just like him!
